I am a trail and ultra runner, writer and film producer from Sheffield, UK. When I’m not running, climbing, or exploring outdoors I am most likely to be writing, reading or watching films about adventure.
I started blogging about my outdoor life as a way of sharing information, and encouraging people to get outdoors, especially other women. Since then I have written for Red Bull Adventure, Lowe Alpine, the Outdoor City among others. I have carried out my own research into the participation, motivation, and inspiration of outdoor women.
I am the founder and editor of Outdoorista a website that celebrates outdoor women. I’m currently Head of Production at Salt Street Productions, a Sheffield based independent adventure film company.
